Viscose rayon is the naturally regenerated cellulosic fiber that can be made from naturally occurring cellulosic based material. (such as cotton linters, wood pulp etc).It can be found in cotton-like end uses as well as silk-like end uses. Due to its fine silk-like properties, it is also known as “Artificial Silk”.
Viscose Rayon have different terminologies in different places. Depending on which country, the materials used as source may vary. VISCOSE FABRICS refer to fabrics with wood pulps as their main source whilst.RAYON FABRICS refer to fabrics with plant cellulose as their main source.
Feature:
1. Soft and shiny, viscose fiber is as soft as cotton fiber and smooth as silk fiber.
2. It has good hygroscopicity and air permeability. The basic chemical composition of viscose fiber is the same as that of cotton fiber. Therefore, some of its properties are close to that of cotton fiber. The difference is that its hygroscopicity and air permeability are better than that of cotton fiber. It is one of the best hygroscopic and breathable among all chemical fibers.
3. Good dyeing performance, because viscose fiber has strong hygroscopicity, so viscose fiber is easier to color than cotton fiber, the color is pure and bright, and the color spectrum is also the most complete.
4. It has super antistatic properties and will not feel attached to the body, so it is very smooth, especially suitable for sports wear. Its moisture content is most in line with the physiological requirements of human skin, and has good air permeability and humidity control functions, so it is called "breathing fabric".
